Veterans of the stage, THEN WHEN thrive from the ethereal connection
between themselves, the music, and the audience. Tonight, they performed at
191 Toole, a favorite club of mine. Although the venue seems small, it’s a great
unassuming live-music venue with an eclectic lineup of shows, some all-ages.
From the start of the first song to the very last note, it was a music fest! THEN
WHEN connected well with their audience and every song was different from
the last and on to the next. Being a musician, I especially enjoyed the intrigue-
style songs that the band performed. And, as three-piece, they were able to
bring to each song a full-bodied sound.
I was able to chat with the band before they went on stage, and then a few
weeks after I had a few more questions. Here is my short conversation with
