In April 2017, they did something I would call very
daring for a power pop punk band. They released a full-
length acoustic album called “Peruvian.” As I delved
into “Peruvian,” I found a track titled “All In” that I
absolutely love! Acoustic, to me, shares an intimacy
between performers and fans if you have the talent to
pull it off. OLC clearly does.

They went back to their roots in July of 2018 and
released the full-length album, “Wanna Be.” Now, they
are currently working on their 2nd full-length album,
with a target date for release somewhere around the
end of this coming summer. But you know, this year is
a bit odd for everyone. Everything remains fluid.

OLC is currently pushing their video release “Rescue
Me.” I recommend digging into some of their other stuff
on YouTube as well. I especially like the party/live
          performance video “Still Okay.”

This band is doing everything right. They keep working
regionally and are reaching out to areas where they
          have not played before.

Prior to our country’s emergency situation, they were
scheduled to perform in Oklahoma and Texas as they
were making the trip to SXSW. They were selected to
play a smaller rock festival on Sixth Street. I can see
why…if they had applied to play my festival, Texas
Indie Fest, I would have selected them as well.

Why, you ask? Here is why: This band is a party that
keeps jumping back into your recollection with
distortion and power, in your face, and a rock-n-roll
          good time!

I cannot wait for the music world to open back up so I
can catch them live. They have a lot of influences, but
I hear Social Distortion in them. Comparisons are
personal to the listener. I hear and see a great band
developing further and further in the months and years
to come. The world may change, but rock-n-roll will
          never die!
