AN ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATION GOVERNING PERIODIC COMPENSATION
AND BENEFITS REVIEWS SUPERSEDING AR-90-4

Section 1: Authorization

Section 3-1 of the Personnel Rules provides that the City shall conduct a periodic salary and
benefits review and that the City Manager shall recommend a compensation and benefits plan to
the City Council based on the findings including economic, competitive and market factors.

Section 2: Anniversary date upon promotion

Pursuant to current section 3-4 of the Personnel Rules, an employee shall receive a pay increase
upon promotion. The employee shall also receive a new anniversary date of the promotion
effective date.
