Key BETA Activity: Dual Entry

One of the most important activities of a BETA hotel is to maintain both the new
GRS and Holidex®Plus. This “dual entry” step affords us the ability to track how
the hotel is performing on GRS and to highlight any unexpected inconsistencies
between the systems. In a worst case scenario we know that all data is available
on Holidex and that no reservations or inventory is lost.

The 30 day test provides us with sufficient data to feel comfortable that the GRS
is performing “at the hotel” as expected. At the end of 30 days Holidex will be
shut down and GRS will be the sole system of record for all activities.

DUAL ENTRY CHECKLIST

Create a process to continue entering all data into Holidex
for 30 days

 Reservations will automatically flow to both the GRS
and Holidex

 Any changes to

 Pricing

 Inventory

 Policies, etc.

Be aware there is an Inspection framework monitoring
that both systems are the same and we will report to you
when there is an out-of-balance scenario
