4. Shapes from Different Perspectives

Unit Overview

In this unit, students will observe the different views, front, back, left, right, etc.
of objects. They will also find which direction a given picture is depicting.
Students will understand the relationship between each side as they observe
and draw the different views of stacked bricks. They will develop their spatial
sense as well as build their ability to infer. Students’ interest is gained through
the use of familiar objects such as bricks, and their ability to predict and
imagine different views is developed.
