Have students practice counting, reading, and writing numbers one to five using various objects in the
classroom.
Ask students how many objects there are using objects in the classroom.
Example: Have them count the number of cups on the desk.
Have them write the numbers on their notebooks and hold it up above their heads. This way, the teacher
can easily check their answers.
Example: “Count how many cups are on the desk. Then write the number on your notebook and hold
your notebook up above your head.”
