birKbEcK MKP’s working relationship with
birkbeck college dates back to
cOllEgE 2001. in that time we have worked
–– on numerous refurbishment
nEW bUild And projects, including a 7-storey infill
rEFUrbisHMEnT extension involving the addition
–– of two new floors to the existing
building. due to the nature and age
of the building the works required
are diverse; from offices to clean-
room laboratory environments.
The project involved a 6000sq/m
new build and a 2000sq/m
refurbishment. The building
remained occupied throughout
the works and included numerous
phases to allow research to
continue 24 hours a day.
