INSTALLATION See Figure 8-13. Apply LOCTITE THREADLOCKER 243 (blue) to two socket head screws (2). Align front (3) and rear (7) brackets and attach the volt- age regulator to the bracket assembly using the two socket head screws (2). Tighten fasteners (2) to 50-80 in-lbs (6-9 Nm). See Figure 8-15. Install the bracket assembly (w/voltage regulator) to the engine. See Figure 8-15. Install ground wire (4) on bracket fas- tener (3) and partially tighten both bracket fasteners. If disconnected, connect regulator-side pin connector [46A] to stator-side socket connector [46B]. See Figure 8-16. Install U-Bolts (5) (from top) around the lower engine mountin
