Install heat shields and exhaust. See FXST/FLST/FLSTC/FXSTB/FXSTS, EXHAUST SYSTEM: FXSTD/FLSTF, SYSTEM: FLSTN or 4.12 EXHAUST SYSTEM: FLSTSC Install right floorboard. Connect negative battery cable. 1WARNING 1WARNING After installing seat, pull upward on front of seat to be sure it is in locked position. While riding, a loose seat can shift causing loss of control, which could result in death or serious injury. (00070a) Remove motorcycle from lift.

4.4 CARBURETOR.

NOTE If top end service was performed (or both cam compartment and top end), follow all the steps listed. If only cam compart- ment components were serviced start with step 5. On carbureted models, install intake manifold and carbu- MAP sensor connector [80] to MAP sensor. On EFI models, install induction module. See INDUCTION MODULE. Install induction module connec- Install horn bracket assembly to frame tab and cylinder heads. Install enrichener to slot in bracket. Tighten two cylinder head bracket bolts to 35-40 ft- Tighten the upper engine to frame mounting bolt to 45-50 ft-lbs (61.0-67.8 Nm). Install spark plugs to cylinder head

PROCEDURE retor as an assembly. See lbs (47.5-54.2 Nm). with new hose clamps.
