03. PCB Bent Measurement:
a. The standard for PCB Bent
According to IPC-A-610D 10.2.7, the maximal sharp change is not allowed to over the
0.75% of PCB diagonal length. The gap between PCB and measuring table must be
smaller than 4.8mm for RMA standard.
b. Why PCB Bent is so important for M/B Repairing?
M/B is manufactured with a lot of SMD and DIP components joined to PCB by
soldering. If PCB sharp change is over the standard, it would affect the reliability of the
soldering and functions.
