Rhythm/Rhyme: “Bee, Bee, Bumblebee”
                   •  Rhyme – when words sound the same
                   •  “Listen for the rhyming words in “Bee, Bee, Bumblebee”
                   •  MM performs rhyme:

                                                   “Bee, bee, bumblebee
                                                 Stung a man upon his knee
                                                 Stung a pig upon his snout

                                                I declare that you are out”

                   •  MF repeat rhyme
                   •  “What word rhymed with bee (knee) & snout (out)?
                   •  Repeat rhyme
                   •  Speak rhyme while patting beat
                   •  “What do we call this, when we pat the steady pulse of the music?” (keeping the

                       beat)
                   •  Play “Duck, Duck Goose” game with rhyme, Bee, Bee, Bumble-Bee on every beat
                       (Bumble is one beat). The person tapped on “out” chases around the circle

               Pause for Practice
                       S speak the rhyme, “Bee, Bee Bumblebee” with their own T
                       S keep the beat while speaking the rhyme
                       Play “Duck, Duck, Goose” to the rhyme

               Pitch: High & Low
                   •  Review “2-4-6-8” while patting the steady beat
                   •  “Do you think a mouse would speak with a high voice or a low voice?” (high voice)
