Our key activities during the year were:
ABBTF SUPPORTED VS. NCVER
• The ACT continues to enjoy immense growth in AT 31 MARCH 24%
Bricklaying Apprentice commencements and
positive “In Training” numbers. This is partly due to
ABBTF’s influence in this State by the NSW team,
where new programs are being developed to NO. OF EXPOS AND EVENTS 5
further enhance positive developments.
• The ongoing intent is to mirror demonstrated
strategies used in NSW to maximise engagement
and transition. While the cost of Programs and
Expos tends to be higher given remote delivery
from NSW, the dividends are clearly worth the
effort. NCVER DATA - ACT
• ABBTF remains close to key stakeholders in the
ACT, such as the Construction Industry Training
Council, which was demonstrated with support for
their Awards in this period.
