Creating a Task: Case Feed View

From the feed view, select „More‟ at the far right of the communication box. Under the more
drop-down you can select „New Task‟.

A new selection field will then populate.
Fill out the same information as you
would if you had started the task from
the „Activities Tab‟, but in a different
format.

This method only allows for a due date
to be selected, but a reminder date and
time can be selected after the task is
created.
To add a reminder date and time to this task, simply edit the task. From the case feed, click
on the blue „created a task‟ link which will open your task. Use the edit button at the top or
bottom of the task page. Once the task has been opened for editing you can check the box
next to the reminder to set a date and time.

                                               IMPORTANT!

                                      Mark your task as completed once
                                    you are done. If you do not do this you
                                    will have past due activities. It will also

                                      be more difficult to find your current
                                        tasks from the „Activities‟ page.
