                52. GUIDELINES – Proper Rest

From paa Laraq Paa Ṫaraq “The Way” – “Tarkhakh 'Relaxation'” – v. 12-18,
                    103-104

“12. Nuwaup-u Nuwaup-u “Nuwaupians” make quiet time each day. 13.
Undistributed time with little or no motion except breathing. No noise except
your own inner heart beat, peacefulness. 14. Absence of worldly thinking, relax
and let go, let your mind go to a place you never go. 15. Remove all worldly
worries, sit alone, eyes closed; remove all worldly things. 16. Remember Ay
habeba Karad-u Ȧy Habeba Kharad-u “my beloved children” the very
words healthy and health begin with the word heal. 17. To heal one's self is step
one. To heal one's whole being will heal one's whole body. 18. Tarkhakh
“Relaxation” is simply to learn to relax. 103. True Tarkhakh comes from
removing the stimuli; visual, audible, and otherwise. 104. Turning into the inner
awareness of who you are without the “they” or inner voices speaking to you at all
                    times, the whisperers.”

From The Holy Tabernacle Ministries Guide To Better Living – Scroll #18 –
“Purity And Neatness And Maintenance Of Health – Getting The Proper Rest” –
                    pg. 122-in part

“pg. 122. (in part) the proper amount of rest is also important. When the body has
not received the appropriate rest it needs, it does not function properly and you
may feel sluggish and weary. However, too much rest tends to make the eyes
puffy, and the body lazy and inactive. Four hours of sleep is sufficient. Anything
more than eight is not good for your health. When going to bed keep the window
cracked at least 1 inch to allow for fresh air to circulate, even in cold weather.
Breathing stale air makes you groggy, and you don't get a good sleep. Wear loose,
comfortable clothing and sleep on a firm supportive mattress.”

From paa Laraq Paa Ṫaraq “The Way” – “Diagnosis of the Races” – v. 4-in
                    part, 33-34

“4. (in part) ...to know who you are by nature. 33. To know what sleep is and the
effects it has on you. 34. To know how much sleep is needed as you age and how
it affects your growth and health.”
