“Then God said, Let the earth sprout
vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees
on the earth bearing fruit after their kind, with
seed in them, and it was so.” —Genesis 1:12
I want to pay special attention to the phrase
“after their kind.” The Greek word for “after
their kind” pertains to fruits and vegetables
right here, but the phrase itself includes all of
creation. The part I want you to understand is
that things reproduce “after their kind.”
Because this is a principle of the universe, it
applies to all things. Our thoughts reproduce
after their kind. If we are constantly thinking
anxiety and fear-based thoughts, they will
continue to reproduce building habits or
patterns of thinking in our minds that become
difficult to break free from. Fear is paralyzing
in nature, so when we dwell on fear and allow it
into our life, we “get” all the things that go with
fear, like anxiety, stress-based illness, skin
conditions, and more.

Along with this school of thought is the fact
that like attracts like. It is the Law of Attraction.
When we operate with a positive attitude,
allowing positive thoughts and faith-filled
words to permeate the atmosphere around us,
we are creating a space for positive things to
