take place. Our faith puts us in alignment with
the promises God has laid out for our lives.

“I know the plans I have for you. Plans to
prosper you and not to bring you harm. Plans
to give you a hope and a future.” —Jeremiah
29:11

But we don’t just magically get the promises of
God flowing in our life. We have to grab hold
of them. We do this by believing them. That’s
called faith, and faith in action will attract all of
God’s goodness toward us. I recommend that
you read the book of James in the New
Testament. As John Maxwell once said, “It’s a
book that you really need to read standing up.”
As the Apostle James said, “Faith without
works is dead.” When faith is put to action, it
moves you from a belief to a knowing.

Do you see how it works?

I want to mention another quote from the
outstanding book, As a Man Thinketh. “The
soul attracts that which it secretly harbors, that
which it loves, and also that which it fears. It
reaches the height of its cherished aspirations.
It falls to the level of its unchastened desires —
