• The fear of criticism.
• The fear of ill health.
• The fear of losing someone.
• The fear of old age.
• The fear of death.
These are core fears. As we talked about earlier,
they are learned. Depending on how we were
raised or what we’ve experienced, these fears
can affect us to a greater or lesser degree.
How do we combat fear? How do we push past
the irrational and negative thought patterns that
trigger survival mode and constrict the hope
around us? How do we live struggle free?
The good news is that there is a way to retrain
your brain. It doesn’t matter if you’re eighteen
or eighty, the negative thoughts that run
through your brain can be recognized, rejected,
and replaced.
Let’s take a look at how that’s accomplished:
Fear is connected to our lens. It has to do with
how we see things, and especially, how we see
ourselves. For the most part, we see situations
