Chapter 4
Jesus the Galilean and the Men of Galilee
That which follows is a brief chronology of Jesus the Galilean and the Men of
Galilee. The scriptures that follow deal with Galilee and Galileans from the four
Gospels to paint a larger picture and more intense information directed at Jesus,
his Apostles and follower surrounding the Sea of Galilee.
Quintessential of Daniel
A stone was cut out without hands. The stone that struck the image became a
great mountain and filled the whole earth. The Lord God of heaven will set up an
everlasting spiritual kingdom, which shall never be destroyed. The kingdom shall
break in pieces and bring to an end all other kingdoms. His kingdom shall stand
forever. The Lord God has made known to you what shall be fulfilled as spoken
through the Prophets.
Galilee Birth of Jesus
Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to Galilee, to a city
called Nazareth, to a virgin who was acquired for a price; for a man named
Joseph, of the house of Judah; and the name of the virgin was Mary of the house
of Levi.
Joseph also went up from Nazareth, a city of Galilee, to Judea, to the city of
David, which is called Bethlehem; because he was of the house and family of
David; with his purchased bride Mary, while she was with child, that they might
be registered there. It came to pass while they were there that her days to be
delivered were fulfilled. She gave birth to her first-born son; she wrapped him in
swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because they had no room where
they were to lodge.
Shepherds, the Savior is Born
Now there were shepherds in that region where they were staying, and they were
watching their flocks at night. The Messenger of God came to them, and the
glory of the Lord shone on them; and they were seized with a great fear. The
angel said to them, do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you glad tidings of great
