the prophet Isaiah, who said, O land of Zebulon, O land of Naphtali, the way to
the sea, across the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles!
Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him.

Now Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan, and the Spirit carried
him away into the wilderness forty days, in order that he might be tempted by the
adversary. And he did not eat anything in those days; and when they were over,
                   at last he became hungry. Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee;
and the fame about him went out through all the country round about. He taught
in their synagogues, and was praised by every man.
Jesus traveled throughout Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
Saying, the time has come to an end, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent
and believe in the gospel his fame spread throughout the country of Galilee.

                                               Gathering the Called Ones

While he was walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Peter and his
brother Andrew, who were casting nets into the sea, for they were fishermen.
Jesus said to them, follow me and I will make you fishers of men.

He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John, in a
ship with Zebedee their father, repairing their nets; and Jesus called them.
The next day Jesus wanted to leave for Galilee, and he found Philip, and said to
him, Follow me. Now Philip was from Bethsaida of Galilee, the city of Andrew
                   and Peter.
Philip found Nathanael, and said to him, we have found that Jesus, the son of
Joseph, of Nazareth, is the one concerning whom Moses wrote in the law and
                   the prophets
Great crowds followed him from Galilee and from the ten cities and from
Jerusalem and from Judea and from across the Jordan River.

                                                 Synagogues of Galilee

Jesus said to them, I must preach the kingdom of God in other cities also,
because I was sent for this. He preached in the synagogues of Galilee. They
were astonished at his teaching; because his word had power.
He preached in all their synagogues throughout Galilee, and cast out evil
                   men.
It came to pass on one of the days when Jesus was teaching in his Temple. The
Pharisees and the teachers of the law came in sat down, they had come from
