Corona lockdown entered 5 week. Charitable organizations
helping underprivileged but liquid cash were major issue.
Four kids pushing vegetable cart attracted my attention, elder
about 10years and youngest in lap.
Selling quality cucumbers 10 for Rs. 10/-. Bought 10 and paid
Rs. 20/-. Asked to keep change, which youngest refused
saying, “Why should we take extra”? I argued, another vendor
selling 6 for 10/-, why you selling cheap.
Her innocent reply touched me, “Selling cheap will sell more
thereby earn more money”.
Charm of a kid‟s innocence is irreplaceable. That is what
makes this world a better place even amidst calamity
