Taste of cigarette……………………
Visited Mahmudabad every summer vacations. Same age
relatives and friends kept me engaged the entire day.
Lakhpeda estate was an attraction having 100,000 trees of
different varieties and a fresh water canal.
We trespass Lakhpeda basically to pluck and eat mangoes of
different varieties. Few even swim in canal.
Tender age lured to try cigarette. Purchased “Cool” cigarettes
and went deep into Lakdpeda. Maiden attempt resulted into
ominous cough with distaste. Good for me not to develop taste,
else nobody was there to watch and monitor my
misadventures.
However, quickly learnt that bad habits are easier to
abandon today than tomorrow……………..
