Exceeding expectations………

Important projects were on when I left for pursuing MBA.

Though visited office to review projects but hectic schedule
often deterred me. Deadlines were shifted and some important
activities getting delayed.

Once I visited my Director at his residence. He welcomed,
discussed progress and its relevance to R&D‟s welfare.

While leaving after sumptuous dinner, Director affectionately
said in presence of his family and my wife, “Dr. Gupta, office is

really missing you”. It was lifetime compliment acknowledging
my honest contribution.

I always treated my job as a mission, avoided procrastination
while increasing contribution. That way round it seems I
exceeded expectations…..
