Blood donation…………………
Vipin admitted in KGMC, Lucknow of food poisoning. Neeraj
and myself made curtsey visit. He was unconscious with fluids
being dripped to overcome the infection. Felt sorry for him.
At KGMC gate found a wailing old women whose grandson fell
from balcony and had to undergo skull surgery. Units of blood
required but she didn‟t have any donor. We instantaneously
decided to donate.
Went to blood bank and donated unit each. We returned home
satisfied.
Unfortunately, Vipin didn‟t survive; we could never find fate of
old woman‟s grandson……
Solace in donating blood to needy got clouded by the loss of
Vipin……..
