Memories sneaked out from eyes………

Molvi Gunj home sold out and we visited one last time. Main
entrance though dilapidated, still stands proudly seeing many
happy times and last journeys.

Memories of drawing room discussions and sound of ascending
& descending foot-steps of Ammajee stirred something inside.

While kitchen‟s intact chullah helplessly staring at us, veranda
recapitulating fading memories of gone-by elders. My birth-

room reminds of last day memories of Rambha didi.

Every inch of home appears bidding farewell with moist eyes

not to see us again.

Generations end but memories last forever; and unknowingly
these memories sneaked out from eyes and rolled down on

cheeks………….
