Our Mission
At Gateway, caring for people in our community is a way of life - high up in our
list of priorities and values. Our driving force is Jesus Himself, who modelled
love and care right through His life on earth and then instructed His followers
to do the same.
In the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 25 and verses 35, 36 & 40 He says:
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you
gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed
clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison
and you came to visit me.”
“I tell you the truth, whatsoever you do for the least of these my brothers and
sisters, you do for me”
This vision document outlines how you can partner with us in meeting various
needs in our community, more specifically that of Housing and Life-Skilling.
