EOS 90639-A-PHY-0024 C-arm assembly

               1. C-arm assembly

                   a. The process of attaching the c-arms to the columns requires a minimum of two people
                   b. It is recommended to begin by mounting the Frontal c-arm followed by the Lateral. There is no

huge advantage in this logic; except when manpower is limited. In that situation, it really helps
to start with the lower arm (Frontal) first to later use it as support when mounting the upper
                      one (Lateral).

               2. Frontal arm mounting

                   a. Identify the frontal c-arm – The frontal c-arm is the one with an extra angled bracket at one

                      end.
                   b. Prior to moving the arm, make sure to set the position of the column c-arm support bracket
(column table) at a convenient height.
                   c. There is a locking bolt underneath the bracket assembly to hold the column bracket it in a
fixed position. Make sure the column bracket is properly locked to prevent it from moving while

                      the arm is being mounted.
                   d. One person needs to manually position the column c-arm support bracket (up/down) while the
                      other locks it into position.
                   e. A height of approximately 80cm from the base of the column to the top edge of the bracket
                      seems reasonable.
