Main services offered on YAV Line:
• Trained support workers who talk with youth and concerned adults every day about bullying,
gang activity, harassment, intimidation, sexual exploitation and many other issues.
• Education about the different types of services and programs available in your area - and what
your choices are.
• YAV Line is a multilingual service, we speak several different languages and when necessary,
we use professional interpreters from CanTalk Canada.
• Everything you say is kept completely confidential and you remain totally anonymous.

Mission: Non-profit agency motivated by compassion to provide practical care, education, support,
and awareness for women, men, and families with unplanned pregnancies in Fort St John and
surrounding area.
Main services provided:
• Information regarding pregnancy, pregnancy tests, sexual & physical abuse, abortion procedures
and risks, adoption and parenting in Fort St John and community.
• Client care counselling, emotional support, post-pardum
• Maternity and baby clothes up to 3 years and all related baby items
• Referrals to other community agencies.
• Grief client care for all pregnancy loss, including miscarriage, stillborn or abortion
• Education: parenting, adoption, grief, breastfeeding
• Programs: Living in colour (post-abortion recovery) & Gamma Girls (girl support groups helping
with healthy choices for future)
• Pregnancy housing and relocation
