Chapter Four: Ideation
Steps in this Process
After completing the task outlined in the previous chapter and identifying the
key findings, I initiated the ideation process in this section.
In the first step, I endeavoured to compare the summaries of the results
RESEARCH PROJECT
obtained from the inter9and surveys previously cond6with the key findings
categorized in the previous section. This allowed me to gain a better and
broader understanding of the topic and determine whether the identified needs
overlapped with the data analysis department or not.
Subsequently, I generated a comprehensive mind map to delve deeper into the
ideation framework. Participating in a campus brainstorming workshop, I eluci-
dated the intricacies of the idea to my teammates and encouraged them to
provide insight, identify potential pitfalls, and suggest similar plans.
Moving forward, I structured the initial hypothesis following the Six Thinking
Hats sequence and presented three concepts in a brainstorming session facili-
tated by my lecturers. Additionally, based on these ideas, I attempted to
address the challenges outlined in the scenarios from the previous section by
creating storyboards.
Finally, after receiving all the feedback, I presented the final hypothesis.
