Education Strategies
• The following are the educational strategies that could be implemented to strengthen the
asthma coalition infrastructure. Education strategies are intended to educate key
stakeholders so that they can work to reduce the burden of asthma within their professional
setting.
• Target presentations to PCPs, pharmacies and nurses.
• Clarify terminology and champion consistent language as is relates to asthma care and
treatment.
• Create online opportunities for healthcare professionals to earn asthma-related continuing
education units (CEUs).
• Provide members with updates on research, policies, and data regarding asthma diagnosis,
treatment, and control.
• Increase member capacity access and utilization of data and evaluation findings.
