2015 marks “24 Years of 24 Hours of Public Radio” for WJAB-FM 90.9FM located on the campus of
Alabama A&M University. The AKA-EGO TEAM volunteered for this year’s Jazz-A-Thon, Thursday,
April 30, 2015. Sorors answered the phone lines for 2 hours at the WJAB Phone Center for listeners to
make their pledge. During their volunteer time, listeners pledged over $1000, one of the highest amounts
on record for an organization during the 2015 Jazz-a-thon.
