                                                   last hole of the tournament – of which he

                                                   aced and released his composed

                                                   exhilaration with the tears of a champion.
                                                   Davis had only one bogey during the

                                                   tournament, hole 18 of the 6  round.  The
                                                   same hole he

                                                   tournament.

               Palm had no bogeys.  It was a matter of
               making the most aces with the fewest

               mistakes – Davis mastered the quest, and

               it was his first major title.  Interestingly,
               Davis and Palm returned to the sport after

               a hiatus due to personal reasons.  But both

               have become reinvigorated with the
               excitement of competition and ready to test their skills against the

               pros.  In the PPA Division of the 2021 National Invitational, Davis would

               have placed 5 , and Palm would have placed 16 .
               In the PPA Division, most players started the sunny second day of

               competition with low scoring.  Rutledge and Ward each scored a 26;
               however, Terry Phillips surged to the lead with a 21.  Then the heat

               arrived.  Once again, many players found their shots inches short of the
