Create in 2D: Experiment with the art elements and design principles to create designs
showing popular culture

You will be transported along with fellow superheroes to another planet, which needs you assistance
and supernatural abilities. Your superior officer (your Creative Arts teacher) will now allocate you to
your task force (group of classmates who by the way are also superheroes). Just before you are
allocated you are informed that each member of your task force is from a different culture and has
very different values, beliefs, habits, dislikes and plans for the future. Your orders are that you are:

1. to show sensitivity to the feelings, values, thoughts and attitudes of your task force
members while communicating and designing your work
2. to show a willingness to explore new and different ideas
3. to acknowledge their individual identities as well as the identity of your task forces'
identity
4. to find ways to overcome all challenges that come your way – no matter what the
nature of these obstacles is
5. to carry out orders and perform as a unified team
6. to show dedication and commitment towards the challenging task ahead
7. in your task team you are to create a new planet, a new form of popular culture
combining the ideas, cultures and knowledge of all the task team members.
