Visual literacy: Analyse artworks that reflect current global events

How much do you know about what’s going on in the world? This lesson your teacher will show
you different examples of designs that deal with current global events. You will be given two of these
images to visually analyse using the art
elements and design principles. Carefully observe how the
designs comment on global events. Consider how each
designer has observed, contributed and commented on
these events and the possible effects of this. Consider how
visual culture and the world has changed over the
years- designers are now working within a global network.
