extend Dr. Prasad’s research on South Asian
blackness and intercultural coalition. She is
also co-organizing a queer studies symposium
on the intersections of sexuality, race, and
caste politics at the annual South Asia Studies
conference in October and is presenting
work on Los Angeles based performance
artist Noa Bustamante at the American
Studies conference in November 2018.
