Not much change. I can't see out of my eye. Its pretty much swollen shut. I
stayed cozy and relaxed.
Early that afternoon I heard the post gal come to the front door. Jay went out
to answer it. I could hear him talking to her for a few minutes and then it
sounded like he grabbed a box from her. A few minutes later, he came to the
bedroom door. There in his hands was a huge box with all sorts of fun writing
on it. I could see hearts all over it. Jay scuffled towards me. I could see the
box was heavy. He said, “This is for you!” I said, “For me?” How was I
getting a box delivered there and who would be sending it? I was totally dumb
founded and super curious, I must admit! He placed it on my bed and then
walked back to the entrance of the bedroom door. (Since I had the radiation
patch on, we wanted to make sure he wasn’t too close to me.)
I quickly looked the box over. There were all sorts of darling hearts covering
the box… and then I saw the name Christian Sa – Francis. I knew exactly
who this special treat was from. It was Jay’s cousin Atlanta and her son,
Christian. I couldn’t believe it, I was totally blown away. Tears started
pouring down my face. This was the most loving gift and perfect surprise to
