terrible. It was becoming so real. I didn’t want them to worry. I knew I’d
have to tell my Dad and Linda next. That call was going to be hard too. I
knew they’d worry. This was hard on everyone. Everyone was going to go
through this. Not just me.

Oct 15 – Charlie Max’s Football Game
With all that had transpired the day before, Charlie Max’s football was the
perfect thing to take my mind off... all our minds off, what was going on.
Mom and I drove together and we met Charlie, Jill and CM at the game. It
was so much fun. It was a perfect day to help put yesterday’s news behind
me, at least for the time being. We had a blast, watching the game in the
pouring rain. I love that about my family. No one cared that it was raining.
We all put our rain ponchos on that mom brought and did what we do. We
had fun.
Something to know about my mom, is that her purse always had the perfect
thing in it at any given moment. She was always prepared. We’ve nick
named her" safety girl", because she always and I mean always had the right
thing in it for any given situation. Thank goodness for mommy.
Anyway, it poured at the football game. Charlie, mom and I laughed
throughout it. We’d been playing a game with the umbrella mom was
using. Charlie and I were diverting one of the rain streams to hit each
other. It was so much fun and just one example of some of the fun things we
do as a family. Something I love about us is that no matter what, we find the
fun in anything. It was a fabulous day, rain or shine.
