P. 2

3. In Christ you have life – Jn. 1:14, Rom. 8:10, Gen. 3:22-23, 1Cor. 15:45, Jn. 17:3, Gen.
               1:20, 1Cor. 11:22-25, Jn. 10:28, Jn. 5:21, Rom. 6:23
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory
as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14).

What is that life? The life of God. A satisfying life is what He has come to give you.

Many people can be like the woman at the well waiting to have something in life. She was
disappointed but encouraged when she met with Christ. This Christ is life. The other thing is you

are only going to exist. So, you must draw all your hope and satisfaction in that Christ.

               4. In Christ you have an inheritance – Eph. 1:7, Eph. 1:11-14, Matt. 25:34, 1Pet. 1:4, Rom.
               8:17, Num. 36:6-9
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father,
inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world (Matt 25:34).

What is an inheritance? It is something that is given to us by somebody who is far better

than us. Your inheritance is like a legacy that you have in Christ. You have some birthrights as a
child of God because you have been heirs of Christ. You draw your ancestry from Christ. Christ

becomes your heritage because a property which includes authority, answered prayers, peace and
joy is passed on to you as an heir and this makes you a different person.

               5. In Christ you have hope – Eph. 1:17-21, 1Pet. 1:3, Jer. 29:11, Rom. 8:24-25, Rom. 12:12,
               Rom. 15:4
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his
abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ
               from the dead (1Peter 1:3).

Not just the hope of His coming but the hope of eternal life. In Him is where it works.

Nobody can tell you where he or she is going if he or she doesn’t have a relationship with Christ

unless he or she is deceiving himself or herself. Consider the muslims who will never be able to
tell you where they are going at the end of this life because it is not in the religion. But in Christ,

you have that hope that one day you are going to leave this world and you are going to be with
Jesus for now and for eternity.

               6. In Christ you are quickened together – Eph. 2:4-5, Col. 2:13
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he
quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses (Col 2:13).
