Page 6 - ENTERING INTO WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE
P. 6

And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power
               (1Cor 6:14).

Having a lot of diverse opinions about Christ will stop you from experiencing His power.

It is difficult for example, for a muslim to experience the power of God because they don’t

believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and as you can see, millions of people are not saved
because they don’t know who Christ really is. Your attitude and beliefs about Christ is very

important to achieving the experience of Christ. Thinking and believing that He is just a good
person or one of the prophets will hinder you from experiencing His power. The following

scriptures will teach you who Christ really is. He is the God. He is the Son of God. When you
believe that, then you can duely and ultimately experience the power of God.

               2. Shift your focus to who He is – Col. 2:6-8, Heb. 12:1-2, Isa. 26:3, Prov. 2:2-5, Phil. 4:13,
               Tit. 2:11-12, Col. 3:1-3, Eccl. 9:10
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and
built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with
thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the
tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ (Col 2:6-8).

You must have a transfer or a transformation of your mind if you have to experience the

power of God. You have been conditioned by your culture to believe certain things about Christ.
By knowing what the scriptures say, you can work seriously to convince yourself of whom Christ

really is. You must change your position. You must have a new understating because it is by this

you can remove all negative things that you probably have known about Christ which can only
be corrected by the Word of God. If you ask ten people about who Christ is even among

christians, you are going to find different opinions about Christ. You are to know the truth that

sets free. The truth about who Christ is in you is that He is the one that goes about doing good.
He is the Saviour and the judge of the whole world. He is the step-down transformer of God.

Knowing all these will allow you to enter into the experience of the good blessing that the
knowledge of Christ gives to you.

               3. Simulate faith – 1Jn. 5:5, 13, 1Tim. 4:12, Acts 16:13, Gal. 3:22, 1Jn. 1:12
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in
conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity (1Tim 4:12).
