Maria Haywood – MRI Technologist

I attained a BS degree in Radiologic Technology from UNC-Chapel
Hill in 1998. I am certified in X-ray and CT, and was a CT

applications specialist for Toshiba for 3 years. I completed the
Johns Hopkins MRI Internship program and passed the MRI
certification in 2016. I am a military spouse, married to a Coast
Guard search and rescue helicopter pilot and have lived in six
different states in the U.S. I have also had the opportunity to travel
to Spain, Ecuador, and Mexico.

Alicia Adger – Patient Registrar

I joined the Imaging Department on February 18th. After many
encounters with patients throughout the years, I knew I would love
to be on the front end of things, especially after noticing how the
Imaging Department maintains positivity and keeping patients
happy. Everyone in the Imaging Department always has a magical
smile and the perfect words to say to each patient. It was at that

point I knew I would be a great fit to the team! If a pleasant smile
and a hello can make a patient’s day I am all for it.

Natalie Thomas – CT Radiologic Technologist Assistant

I have worked healthcare for over 15 years. I started out in assisted
living as a House Manager of 2 units. I transitioned to Sheppard

Pratt healthcare system as a Lead Mental Health Worker for the
adult Neuroscience Psychiatric unit. I came to Bayview 6 months
ago as a Patient Escort, and a short time later, I decided to move to
the Imaging Department as a RTA for CT. I am open-minded and
enjoy learning about CT. In my off time, I love taking trips,
shopping, cooking and spending time with my family; especially my

husband.
