Shashana Rooks – Imaging Support

Pleasant, Kind, Warm, Welcoming, and Calming. These are all words that many of our patients and
their family members use to describe Shashana. Many patients mention that they look forward to
their imaging exams as it means they will get to see Shashana. Other patients mention that their
interaction with Shashana is the highlight of their day.

Selecting Shashana as the Imaging Department Star Performer for the Month of May was definitely
not a difficult decision to make. Reviewing the Bivarus comments, Shashana’s name or description of
her hair, is easily found in several locations on each and every page. One patient even commented that
Shashana was the embodiment of the term Customer Service. Another patient commented that her
interaction with Shashana prevented her from harming herself. The level of service and care that
Shashana provides is not something that she was taught over time. Instead, it is a reflection of her
kind heart and caring soul.

Thank you for being an example to all of us on how we should not only treat our patients and their
families but also each other.
