threw a gun in the water, a vehicle ends up in the water, some-
times drugs are thrown off a freighter or are attached to a sea-
wall underwater, bomb threats, and sadly of course, drowning
victims....I was told there are usually a couple people a year that
jump off the Blue Water bridge, but occasionally they survive!
And, the team is also responsible for smaller inland bodies of
water, such as local ponds, where they have recovered pets that
have drowned... including a horse.

had some repair
work done over
the winter and
discovered a
large water leak.
After getting a
major pump out,
he was able to
get it back to
the Fair Haven
launch ramp
safely thanks
to the quick
response of a
big team!
