Indonesia’s strategic position as the biggest archipelago and also its potential to
become producer (supply side) as well as consumer (demand side) in global supply
chain has made Indonesia logistic system as a locally integrated and globally
connected logistic system.
Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) understands its strategic role
in encouraging economic growth by facilitating trade. We will improve our trade
facilitator and industrial assistance function as the solution for more efficient
raw material and industrial goods supply chain. One of those initiatives is the
establishment of Pusat Logistik Berikat (Bonded Logistics Center), Kawasan Berikat
(Bonded Zone), Gudang Berikat (Bonded Warehouse) and AEO (Authorized Economic
Operator).

To spread the information regarding the Directorate General of Customs and
Excise as a trade facilitator, the government, through Indonesia Transport,
Logistics & Maritime Week 2017, gives its full support for the 2nd edition of Jakarta
International Logistics Summit and Expo (JILSE) 2017 in 10-12 October 2017, located
in JIEXPO Kemayoran Jakarta, in cooperation with Reed Panorama Exhibitions.
JILSE 2017 is an international forum to gather consumer, logistics company
(supplier and distributor), logistics provider, logistics community, academician,
research institution, and policy maker. It is the best place to expand network and
promotion, where supplies (suppliers) meets demands (consumer) for JILSE 2017
provides a range of exhibitions, summits, and conferences.

JILSE 2017 is expected to be the medium to increase business growth, promote
trade and industries, expand business network, and also contribute well to national
logistic system development.
Therefore, we humbly appreciate all the cooperation, participation, and good
partnership.
