        On behalf of Reed Panorama Exhibitions, Reed Transport & Logistics, Reed Maritime Events,
        we are delighted to welcome you to the Indonesia Transport, Logistics and Maritime Week
        2017, which comprises of the 4th edition Indonesia Transport, Supply Chain & Logistics 2017
        (ITSCL), the 4th edition of Indonesia Trucks and Commercial Vehicles (ITCV), the 2nd edition of
        Jakarta International Logistics and Summit Expo 2017 (JILSE), and the 6th edition of Indonesia
        Maritime Expo (IME).
        Indonesia is South East Asia largest economy with the forecast GDP growth of 5.2% in 2017
        and is set to strengthen to 5.3% in 2018. The Indonesia government, since 9th of September
        2015, have introduced a total of 16th economic package to ensure the continuing economic
        growth of Indonesia. In particular, 13 out of a total of 16 economic packages are related to
        foreign and domestic investments, streamline logistics costs, improving transport & logistics
        infrastructure, and envision Indonesia to be a world class maritime industry through the Global
        Maritime Fulcrum.

        We are pleased to have worked with Indonesia Chamber of Commerce (KADIN), as the host for
        the Indonesia Transport, Logistics and Maritime Week 2017, to line up a 3 days of conference
        programme covering the Transport & Logistics sectors;  our strategic partner Ministry of
        Finance, Directorate General of Customs and Excise (BEA dan CUKAI) to support the JILSE
        conference, which will unveil the latest government policies and initiatives, transforming
        BEA dan CUKAI from a regulatory role to a Trade Facilitator and a trade assistant for all
        manufacturing sectors in Indonesia. For the Maritime sector, we have an exciting line up
        of conferences jointly organised with the Indonesian National Shipowners’ Association with
        a theme “Leveraging Beyond Cabotage for National Shipping Industry Competitiveness”,
        shipbuilding seminars by IPERINDO, Networkings and end off with a shipyard visit the 12
        October 2017.
        I will like to express my deepest appreciation to our partners Coordinating Ministry of
        Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Indonesian
        Chamber of Commerce (KADIN), KADIN Transport Committee, Indonesian National
        Shipowners’ Association, Indonesia Shipbuilding Association (IPERINDO), Indonesian Trucking
        Association (APTRINDO), Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI), Netherlands
        Maritime Technology (NMT), China Chamber of Commerce for the Import and Export of
        Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), Busan Marine Equipment Association, Italy

        exhibitors and participants for their support and contributions in making this event an integral
        part of the industry.
