The whole and soul of this giant demolition show was none other than this giant
machinery. The key specialty of this giant machine was its flexibility. This giant had a
scissor type cutting attachment to its boom stick powered with double telescopic
hydraulic cylinders to cater heavy demolitions of concrete and steel. The KOBELCO
and HYUNDAI ‘make’ crawler type Combi-Crushers which were used in combination
to do the job. In fact, at any point of time two combo-crushers were continuously
used along with the giant breaker accessory attached to it. The huge requirement of
diesel in diesel engines of these giants was anticipated so precisely at any point

no deficit requirement case was
reported.

To avoid any unfavorable
situation of machinery break
down, backup attachment of
every giant was kept close to the
site. The team was thus mentally
prepared to tackle any
emergencies. The beauty of this
machinery was that it can hold
and crush the bridge
components so easily like that of
a small kid squeezing the banana
in one hand.
