migrants in weapons, explosives, and combat. As their
numbers grow in Europe, so will their aggressiveness.
The welfare state is dependent on a high level of
taxation, and excessive taxation is dependent on a
compliant and supportive population. The contract
between the people and the welfare state was that
everyone works to maintain the system and the system
gives back to meet society’s needs. The welfare state
works if the people have shared customs and beliefs,
the system fails with no hegemony, and there are too
many takers and not enough givers.

The Barcelona Agreement opened the door to the
European Union for immigrants, and the Dublin Regu-
lation stipulated that the first country of entry was
responsible for examining an immigrant’s application
for asylum. The nations affected the most by this
agreement are nations close to Europe’s borders, mostly
Greece and Italy. The European Convention on Human
Rights claims that countries are not allowed to deport
immigrants if they are at risk of torture or face the death
sentence in their home country. So, even if an immi-
grant is a known terrorist, he cannot be deported in such
a case. This policy protects terrorists, but does not
protect the European citizen from the terrorists.

The best selling non-fiction book in Great Britain
today is The Strange Death of Europe, Immigration,
Identity, Islam, 2017, by Douglas Murray. Murray
believes that many Europeans have little desire to
reproduce and fight for their heritage and that they have
given up on protecting their traditions—diversity is
sweeping away their culture and that this lack of
identity has made Europe ill-prepared to defend itself
