1.0 General

1.1 In all cases, the typeface is to be Domino’s UK Font. This and the tile logo are only
obtainable from Domino’s Pizza UK & Ireland Ltd, Property Department.

1.2 The .ai graphics file must be obtained from DP UK&I and must always be used. This is
NOT a standard recognised font and is not available from any other source.

1.3 The .ai file shows the USA standard signage and needs to be modified slightly for use in
UK and ROI, as follows:

1.3.1The colour of the lettering should be white to match RAL9010, and not blue as

shown in the .ai file.

1.3.2 The relationship of “Domino’s” to the tile logo must be altered, so that the top of
the dot on the “ i “ ( NOT the top of the “D”) is level with the top of the tile.

Incorrect Correct

1.4 The word “Pizza” should never be used on signage for the UK and ROI.

1.5 Note that the ‘TM’ and ‘R’ marks must always be included.

1.6 In all cases, the site specific drawings for each project must be referred to, and they take

precedence over anything written in this specification if there are any conflicts. If

anything is unclear refer to the DP UK&I project manager or the Design Team.

2 .0 Main Fascia Signage

2.1 General Principles

The standard fascia sign consists of four elements:

1) The backing panel.
2) The tile logo ( domino)
3) The word “Domino’s”
4) A white underline.

The standard fascia signage consists of built‐up, internally illuminated, individual letters / logos, lit by
LED’s ( NOT fluorescent or Neon). Only the front face of each letter and the tile logo, are to be
illuminated, NOT their side returns.

In ALL versions, a non‐illuminated white bar ( underline/strapline) should normally be applied under
the logo and lettering, although it may occasionally be omitted if the fascia depth is too shallow. This
bar is to be 50mm wide with 30mm returns, at the length indicated on the specific drawings for each
project, and is NEVER illuminated.

Where the Local Authority requires something other than internally illuminated signage, it should
still be constructed as built‐up, individual letters and logo ( unless the Consent specifically requires
another type of construction), and external LED trough lighting should be installed above it. The
length of the lighting must be no shorter than the O/A logo plus domino tile.
