3.0 External Signage Construction Specifications
3.1 Internally Illuminated Fascias
Internally illuminated, built‐up individual letters and logo are always the preferred option for
fascia signage. These will normally be mounted on an aluminium back panel, unless the local
Authority requires timber. This will be specified on the Planning Consent and DP drawings.
3.1.1 2mm aluminium back panel formed on four sides with 25mm folded returns complete
with 20mm x 20mm internal aluminium fixing angle to top and bottom or 20mm up and
downstands depending on circumstances. Panel is to be etch primed and powder coated
semi‐gloss grey to match RAL 7043 Traffic Grey.
Install to a sealed and weathered area provided by others.
