2.3 Externally Illuminated Timber Projecting Sign

2.3.1 Projecting sign having panels sized as shown on project drawing.

2.3.2 Panel constructed from 25mm exterior grade plywood with 25mm x
12mm timber mouldings all round, fitted to an aluminium support
frame/bracket, all painted RAL 7043 Traffic Grey.

Please note that the design of the support/bracket may vary as part of
2.3.3 the planning consent and this should be checked for each project.

Stand‐off of the sign from the wall to the edge of the projector is to be
2.3.4 125mm.

5.0 Internal Signage

There are number of internal signage elements. However please note that although they are
included here for completeness, some are specific bespoke items and not all will be provided by
the project main sign contractor.

5.1 Shopfront Window poster frames

2No. A1 size LED illuminated poster boards should be
installed in every shopfront, immediately adjacent to the
customer door, on the opening side. Window poster frames
are supplied by Olympic Signs. The Main Contractor is to
install, using the foot (screw into floor) and head (fix
through ceiling into independent support above) fixings
supplied. Principal Contractor to provide power supply as
required.

Note that a minimum of 1000mm clearance is required
between the window frame and any other obstruction.

These frames are NOT supplied by the main signage contractor.
