       4.1.1 Front of House Lighting
Customer areas and kitchen lighting is usually
a mix of spotlights, wall wash, ambient lighting
and feature pendants. General light fittings will
be supplied sprayed to RAL 7039 – NOTE: This
NOT the same colour as the ceiling (RAL 7037).

General principles for positioning each fitting
       are as follows:

       • Wall wash lights to be fitted at 1200mm
centres (alternate tiles) for the full extent of
all graphic / feature walls (except the timber
wall which will have down lights angled
towards the wall) and white tiled walls. Each
light to be installed between 450-600mm off
          the wall face.
       • Spot lights to be installed in specific locations
only, as accent lights: Typically customer
facing, the length of slap table (in line with
the counter), 2No over cut table.
       • Downlights are to be used throughout the
rest of the Bake & Serve and Customer Area
ceiling to provide adequate task lighting,
generally one fitting per 6 ceiling tiles.
       • Feature pendant lights are to be located
over communal tables in the customer area,
in accordance with the project drawings.
       • All pendants to be to be hung 1950mm
AFFL to underside and centred to the sit up
bar / table. The pendants have a standard
cable length - between 600-850mm. If the
customer area ceiling is higher than 2500mm
AFFL longer cables need to be fitted.
