dirty war and their idea. How the people can live with them...!"
In a nasty voice, Nguyen's grandpa said.

"Therefore I kept quiet and looked through the slit of the
windows. I heard the voice of their leader. it was likely Cao's
voice...!"

"Are you sure? Do you see him?" In a moment of emotion,
Nguyen's grandpa asked.

"I was not sure but seemed the voice like his voice. I try to
look out from the keyhole, but I could not because a guard stood
at the outside door and covered a keyhole..."

"If he followed Viet-Minh. I don't have this son!" In a
temper Grandpa said and continues:

"What did he said about you? If it was true, he must let you
free."

Nguyen's mother shook her head and looked at Nguyen's
grandpa.

"I did not know father...! But he ordered his people are
holding me in the room and waiting for midnight..." She replies.

Suddenly, Grandpa stood up, and in his emotion of angry he
said:

"They beast... Bullshit. An evil thinks! He wanted to kill
you! Do you know that Viet-Minh killed the people at the night
time and with their jungle laws only? Therefore nobody knows
their evil actions, and they were easy to clean their bloody
hands."

Nguyen's mother looked at Nguyen's grandpa with her
tearful and understood his thinking about Cao. She shook her
